Correct feeding plays a particularly important role as your horse starts to age.
The recipe for St. Hippolyt’s Vitalmüsli Beste Jahre® is rich in high-quality fibre and contains herbs, seaweed, oils and oleiferous fruits. This supports digestion and helps your horse to maintain its vitality.
The muesli contains cold-pressed oils, macro- and micronutrients, and trace elements that ideally complement roughage.
Because Vitalmüsli Beste Jahre® is particularly easy to digest, it is also suitable for sensitive horses, during stall rest, and for lean horses of all ages.
Feeding recommendation:
- To be given in addition to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass.
- From an amount of approx. 300-600 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary.
- The total amount should be offered over several rations.
- If giving a smaller amount or in the case of deficits, the manufacturer recommends the addition of or .
- 1 litre corresponds to approx. 600 g.
Feeding instructions:
- This supplementary feed may only make up 60% of a horse’s daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
- Please adhere to the feeding recommendation.
Tips:
- For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with problems involving teeth, chewing or gullet, the muesli can be fed soaked in water.
- For seniors, particular care should be taken to ensure horses receive sufficient roughage. If necessary, or can be given in addition.
