Description

Overweight horses and horses with metabolic disorders require a diet low in starch and sugar. However, reducing the amount of concentrated feed can lead to nutrient deficiencies which it is important to counteract.

Glucogard is a special mineral supplement that is rich in antioxidants and plant components ideal for boosting your horse’s nutrient intake.

Feeding recommendation:

Situation	Quantity per day
For acute metabolic problems (With pure roughage ration or e.g. with )	50 g per 100 kg bodyweight
For metabolic and hoof support, and when less grass is available.	20 g per 100 kg bodyweight (Until the desired weight is reached, or permanently in case of insulin issues.)

Mix the pellets with water if necessary and give with a mouth syringe.
1 measuring cup corresponds to approx. 120 g

Feeding instructions:

From 20 g Glucogard no additional mineral feed is necessary.
This supplementary feed may only make up 3% of your horse’s daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
Please adhere to the feeding recommendation.
