St.Hippolyt Glyx Meadow Hay Cobs

High-quality roughage
Roughage is still the basis of wholesome horse nutrition. Therefore, it is all the more important to pay attention to particularly good quality. High-quality hay stimulates natural bowel function and supports a functioning metabolism. Good hay is also a treat for horses and encourages chewing.

The hay cobs were made with grasses that have a low sugar content, that were harvested late in the season. They have a low glycaemic index.
The hay cobs are virtually free of mould, mites, dust and dirt.

The hay cobs are particularly suitable for:

• Upgrading forage rations
• Thin horses or picky eaters
• Old horses
• Horses with poor teeth
• Horses with dust allergies
• Medication administration
• To compensate for an undersupply of crude fibre

Directions for use:

• Soften 1 kg of the hay cobs with around 1.5 – 3 litres of water. The cobs disintegrate after a few minutes. The swelling phase takes around 20 minutes. 1 kg GlyxWiese® hay cobs replaces 1 kg hay.

Feeding recommendation:

• Use as an alternative to basic feed: 1.2 – 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight per day
• As an upgrade for foraging: adjust as needed to supplement for your horse’s grazing.
