This bit is perfectly adapted to the horse’s mouth. With a fixed side section and a shortened centre section that is inclined at 45° forwards. Compared to conventional bits, the rein aid is transferred directly to the tongue and lower jaw. The result is a noticeably finer level of assistance and an improvement in the level of support.
The bit sits very quietly in the mouth and is gentle on the corners of the mouth. When you pick up the reins, the middle piece and connecting rings roll gently over the tongue. This stimulates the horse’s tongue’s sense of touch without exerting any pressure. Favours a trusting relationship.
