The special curb bit has a flat, widened tongue clearance, which means that even strong tongues can find their place. Its design is gentle on the sensitive palate and is therefore ideal for horses with a flat palatal arch. The pressure on the neck is higher due to longer levers and occurs with a slight delay compared to a shorter undercut.
Technical div:
- Stainless steel
- Bit ring type: curb bit
- Thickness: 16 mm
- Side pieces: 13 cm
- Underpins: 7 cm
- Mouthpiece: Bar
- Discipline: Dressage
Note on the choice of size:
The horse’s mouth is narrower where the curb bit is buckled in, which is why the curb bit should generally be chosen 1/2 to 1 cm smaller than the undercut snaffle. Please make sure that the sides of the bit are close to the mouth. The chin chain should be buckled in such a way that the curb bit can be accepted up to an angle of approx. 45°.
