Horses with sensitive stomachs benefit from this tasty Gastro-Muesli! The grain and molasses-free, stomach acid buffering and easy to use recipe is also suitable for nervous and thin horses.
The high structural content stimulates chewing activity and promotes the formation of saliva. Since stomach problems often occur in combination with stress, magnesium was added to gastro-muesli recipe.
- Grape marc provides anti-inflammatory polyphenols.
- Antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids support the anti-inflammatory effect
- Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-glucans support a healthy gastrointestinal environment.
- A high content of protein that can be digested in the small intestine supports the muscles.
Feeding recommendation:
As the sole concentrated feed (per 100kg LG / day)
| Easy work | approx. 400 g |
| Medium work | approx. 500 g |
| Heavy work | approx. 650 g |
For hasty eaters, horses with food envy, dental problems, etc., we recommend that you feed them pre-soaked gastro-muesli. (e.g. 1 litre of gastro muesli + 1 litre of warm or cold water, then let it steep for 15 minutes)
1 liter of marstall gastro muesli = approx. 380 g
Feeding advice:
This supplementary feed for horses may only be fed according to the recommendations given here because of the higher content of trace elements and vitamin D3 compared to their complete feed! Please note the recommended rations in order to provide your horses with optima, appropriate care.
Our recommendations are based on a roughage content (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg weight and day.
All feed quantities mentioned are to be fed in at least 2 partial rations throughout the day.
