Hoof Dressing – Black

• For over 32 years Kevin Bacon’s has been making this hoof dressing using traditional methods. The 100% natural product is also available in black. The dye used to create the product is made of natural vine ash that offers a slight antiseptic quality to the dressing. The product is based on animal fat and fresh laurel leaves.
• If the Hoof Dressing is used regularly, it keeps the hoof wall from drying out and protects it from dampness. It also activates the growth of the horn.

Normal use:

• Apply directly to the hoof using the provided brush. Apply to the outside of the hoof, the sole and the frog of each food.
• Care for sound hooves: apply 2x a week
• Before a competition: apply 1x for beauty
• In dry weather: apply 4-5 times a week

Use for very dry hooves:

• Hose down the feet for a few minutes, then dry them off
• Brush on the hoof dressing
• Repeat once a week.
