This versatile hoof care product protects the hoof from moisture. Ideally, the product can be applied immediately after shoeing to create a barrier against moisture on the freshly treated hooves. This contributes to preventing hoof decay. The hoof tar consists of pine wood tar and is anti-bacterial. It also serves as a foundation for the hooves and helps fill in holes caused by abscesses.
