Alfalfa is the oldest known fodder plant. It contains high-quality protein, ß-carotene, vitamins and minerals.

Alfalfa is particularly suitable for use as a concentrate feed for breeding, sport and young horses. It contains calcium and can optimise the calcium: phosphorus ratio in feed with a high-grain content.

The Agrobs alfalfa has been gently dried and is free from molasses, dust and binders.

Feeding recommendation:

• To upgrade basic feed: 0.3 kg to 0.5 kg per 100 kg
• As a grain substitute: approx. 1.2 kg replaces 1 kg of grain
• For sport and breeding horses: 0.5 kg to 0.8 kg per 100 kg of body weight as a source of protein and energy
• For hasty eaters, old horses or horses with dental problems, moistening or soaking the food before feeding is generally recommended.
